November
November was FULL of things, REALLY full!
First, a thing that we didn't do but we remembered it later was the activity of Guy Fawkes.
He was a Catholic revolutionary and one of the members of the group of English Catholics who attempted to assassinate King James I in the failed gunpowder conspiracy in 1605, and for this reason we celebrate the "remember, remember, the fifth of November".
But that wasn't the only good thing on November, we were focused on the 25.
The day against gender violence, which we represented with things against women's violence.
First, we started by making some "bricks", which were made with shoe boxes, and a purple or orange cardboard which obtained a message, a phrase or a quote that talked on how we are involved in this issue, and how we want to stop violence against women once and for all.
Also, we did some cards that implied the movement of #OrangeTheWorld and the history of why purple is used when we want to talk about the defence of women against violence. The cards are like this:
And the last thing that we did, consisted of a series of companions holding an umbrella, each umbrella had a letter in it, forming the sentence: "My Body, My Business" or "Women". Also, some students that didn't have an umbrella (as me), did a sentence with sheets of paper in which we promoted the movement against women violence.
