June

June sounds like... Summer, friends, hot nights... and last exams. Like I said before, our last exams weren't in May, because the law changed and we haven't had the extraordinary period, so our ordinary period lasts until 21 of June. Terrible, I know.  But June hasn't be that terrible, we have done many activities, such as an activity of curiosities of Europe, in which we had to draw an star and put a curiosity of Europe inside it. My curiosity was that the Sagrada Familia is the building that has taken the longest time to build in all the European Union. Also, we have started preparing well our scape room, because it is for 20 of June and we have to finish some things. Our scape room is based on the Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None, and it consist of six rooms which each one has a clue for the next room until the last one, which is going to have the last clue to scape from the scape room. Beautiful, I know.  This has

May

Oh, May. The most terryfing month for an average students of ESO. It wasn't that much, I think june was more difficult, but, lets talk a little but about May. In May we continued with the exams, the last exam was very close to us, so that meant that we couldn't lose more time. An interesting thing about May, it's that we started working with 1st of ESO students, because they had to do a video for their class, and I had to explain to some girls the studies. With that, I mean that we divided in some groups, and Lola and I had to explain the studies of ESO, Bachillerato and FP to them, things like the subjects, how are them, the bilingual program, the optative subjects in each course, the dinamism of exams, the different classes and ares in Bachillerato and the three degrees in FP. A lot of things, I know... Also, we continued with the projects of detective stories, making a huge presentation with an Edgar Allan Poe short horror story and presentation it in class.

April

Let's go with April! From April I don't remember a lot, because we didn't do a lot of funny activities. In April, we started with the first exams of the third term, our work in class started to get bigger and we had to study a little more, because there were many things to study in this subject (because its continuous). But we did some activities at home, because we had Easter holidays and our teacher sent us some projects in order to continúe working the subject at home: The SDG's poster, where we had to explain the SDG that we chose, why, how can we work it in the high school and in class.  The SDG's presentation, explaining and talking about our SDG and how is it visible in the world. A podcast about the biography of a famous woman, in my case was about Anne Frank and I talked about her life, how she represented feminisim and the war in her years, with the goverment of Hitler and how has she impacted in our actual lifes. March

Ahmm... March sounds like... spring! I'm going to talk about our actual month: March. The first thing that comes to mind talking about March is 8M, the international women's day. And we had to do something in honor of this day, on honor of all the women that couldn't shout for their rights and they had all the rights to do it.  We did a great activity that I liked so much (in my opinion). The activity consisted of doing like a little paper in color purple of white, of any woman you wanted and you had to put her name, a photo of her, a famous quote and a qr code which had a video or a description of her inside it when you scan it. The woman I chosed was Anne Frank, I think Anne Frank was a very strong woman, who fighted to have liberty and freedom and told to us all the adversitys she and her family had to pass in a very little place in Amsterdam only to survive... The government was horrible, and sexist.  So, I think this activity was to think, and a great task

Feburary

Ohhhh, February, the love month. February started great, the exams went great (in my case) and I had the subject almost dominated. About February I can say that we were CRAZY with St. Valentine's day. Really, really CRAZY.  The teacher made us to do a project that we also did the last year, it consisted of a heart made with red paper, and inside we had to put a lot of things, such as: -A beautiful sentence for your mate or the person you would give the heart to. -Some phonetics to work the area of grammar in this activity. -A song that remembers to you that person. -Some beautiful words, and if you wanted, lastly, a photo with that person. My heart was for Jimena, she is my best friend and I really loved doing this project to her. I think she liked a lot because I added a lot of things that she and I know and seeing her smile was the most beautiful thing I watched that day. I almost forget this...  Also, we did another activity in collaboration with Maria Jose, our tuto

January

Let's start with the first month of 2022!  Now, I'm going to talk about January. In January we didn't do a lot, we started again with the exams, after the first term and we started with the classes again. But, we had a thing that we did just in March, the SDG's.  Our English teacher send to us a project where we had to investigate about the sustainable development goals, which are some tasks that work in order to create a better amd more healthy word from here to 2030. It is currently in the agendas, and it started in the year 2015. Also, at the end of January, we read a book which is called Sherlock Holmes. About this book, I can say that we did a lot of works like a presentation, a biography about thing and also an exam.  I don't have a lot more to say about January, so, let's start with February!

December

And lastly, December. I don't have a lot to say about December, only that we started thinking about some Christmas activities related to this season, and we're doing the last exams of the first term. The first activity that we did of Christmas was a Christmas Card with the shape of a tree, we did it for other countries in the proyect e-twinning, were were going to send this cards to all the world! (Well, only the countries that also participate in this event) (That's my Christmas Card, it opens and close, showing the messages on the second photo)  Also, we were decorating the class in some hours, now the class has very great messages and the English Corner it's a little bit more Christmas, don't you think so? We're planning on doing a Karaoke, like we did the last year, with some Christmas songs such as "Snowman" of Sia, and "Santa Tell Me" of Ariana Grande.  We're only of 12 of December, so I don't have many i
